Hello all, I am also a mod. I'm Birch,
and I'm working on my master's and have
worked in a psychiatric hospital.
Currently I am working in a facility with
a focus on recovery, which is a much
better place for all to be.
Please let me or Danielle know if you need
anything.

This forum has been created to support and
discuss issues related to schizophrenia,
whether or not you have been diagnosed
with the condition. Please, however,
refrain from encouraging cessation of
medication. New topics that attempt to
convince others to cease medications will
be removed.
Additionally, there is no empirical
evidence to indicate that mental illness
is a sign of demon possession; this belief
propagates the thought that mental illness
is not a biological disease, that
something is wrong with a person’s
"thoughts" and that if they would just
think differently it could change.
