Is It Morally Acceptable to Kill Under These Circumstances?

Is it morally acceptable for a country(us)
to go to war and kill the enemy (invading
country seeking to conquer us) under these
conditions:
The invading country seeks to take over
our country and make it part of their
territory.
They want their laws and government to be
the law of the land for our country just
like it is in theirs.
They do not want to kill any of us, they
just want to invade and conquer us a a
nation.
The laws and way their government works is
completely foreign to us and goes against
everything we stand for. Make believe it
is fundamentalist Islam and it's Sharia
Law they want imposed on us.
Sharia:

I don't care what customs A and B are,
country A has a right to defend itself and
kill the aggressors.
Especially in this case, of Sharia law
being imposed on people, I feel it is
right for the people to rise up against
this, and kill for their freedom.

as a last resort.
perhaps fighting back to regain control..
then using deadly force if fighting doesnt
help.

Fighting inevitably leads to death; that's
what happens in war.

true.. to a degree.

Fighting over land. How juvenile.

I love Calvin and Hobbes...
But in this case, it is not just land to
fight over. It is your very freedoms. It
is the laws that govern you. I would kill
someone to maintain my freedoms.

It's money, Eiri, that's what people who
"make" war care about.
Land/minerals/people whatever, it's all
about making money. Whoever has the most
land makes the most money.
Parker Bros. has this figured out.

Not ALL the time. And the actual civilians
of the country being taken over are the
ones whose freedoms are being stripped, so
they are the ones depending on their own
military to fight back against the
invaders.

Why are their freedoms being stripped?
Why is their country invaded? It's not to
take away the freedoms of people.

Did you not read the original question and
the link provided? It's pretty painfully
obvious. Secondly, it's hypothetical.
Why their freedoms are being stripped is
explained in the article. It doesn't
matter what the reason for the invasion
was. The end result will be the extreme
subjugation of human rights.

Thanks once again, Eiri, for backing me up
and helping to explain what I meant.
The purpose of this exercise was to show
that most people, pl and pc, believe it is
right to kill another person even when
your life is NOT at stake, just control
over your own life.
Does anyone see the analogy yet to
abortion?
Being pregnant against your will? Having
control of your own body taken away from
you? People will do ANYTHING to stop that
situation, even if it means killing an
embryo.
