Mrsa/epidemic Or Pandemic? Posted: 10-16-07 17:02pm
I am a MRSA immue compromised from getting
the infection in my incsion after my
appendectomy back in 2004. I have been
suffering since to the point of 10 min
close to death when I aquired double
pneumonia last Dec and my MRSA surfaced
and I was on the vent for 10 out of 16
days in bed in CCU.
Here is some new satistics out finally
being recognized! This was a health
segment just tonight on my local new
station BayNews 9 Tampa Fla. I went to
thier web site so I could copy and paste
the article. You will be astounded at the
least. MRSA is on the rise and getting out
of control. I personally want to see it
STOPPED!
Article:
Deadly infection
More than 90,000 Americans get potentially
deadly infections each year from a
drug-resistant staph "superbug." That's
according to the government's first
overall estimate of invasive disease
caused by the germ. Most drug-resistant
staph cases are mild skin infections. But
the study focused on invasive infections
that enter the bloodstream or destroy
flesh and can turn deadly.
More about MRSA:
Watch the story
CDC
The study classified 58.4% of the cases as
healthcare associated, meaning people got
the infections after a procedure such as
dialysis or surgery. It reports 26.6% got
infected while in a hospital, and 13.7%
got infected in the community. Researchers
call this a major public health problem.
Experts say the infection sometimes first
appears on the skin as a red, swollen
pimple or boil that may be painful or have
pus. It can be spread by close skin-to
skin contact or by touching surfaces
contaminated with the germ.
Prevention tips from CDC:
Good hand hygiene
Keep hands clean by washing thoroughly
with soap and water or using an
alcohol-based hand cleaner
Keep cuts and scrapes clean and covered
with a bandage until healed
Avoid contact with other people's wounds
or bandages
Avoid sharing personal items such as
towels or razors

There are things that will cure MRSA
besides antibiotics.
There is allicin, ozone, phage therapy,
high powered colloidal silver. Do a search
on this things and you will find out!

In that case, you know more then I do. Why
when I called CDC and my own Ifectious
Desease doc says there is no cure. There
is not cure. Just remission. You are
talking to someone who has had MRSA for 5
years now. Resarch? Been there done that.
No cure! Yet anyway.
Lord knows I wish there were a cure. Dang
Surperbug, Resistant to anything that
touches it. Vancomycin is one of the only
drugs that will put it in remission so
far. Wherever you got that information,
please forward it to me through PM. Sounds
like a scam to me.

A new product was introduced this past
December that is the best one yet for
MRSA, Staph, C,Diff, etc. It is called
Bacrobial. It works at full strength even
after 3 hours. By comparison, alcohol hand
sanitizers work for just a few seconds or
until they dry. Bacrobial is now being
used by some of the nations top athletes
in the worst of conditions with excellent
results. It is a total body cleanser
meaning its not just for your hands but
can be used everywhere. It does no tsting
or burn as it is pH balanced. This should
be used by everyone daily to keep the skin
free of dangerous superbugs.
