...finn will be out of formula and making
the switch to whole milk! it kind of makes
me sad. he's so grown up...
we're going cold turkey, no half milk/half
formula and no more bottles (except his
bedtime one). i highly doubt he'll have a
problem with it, he's such a piglet.
i hope it doesn't constipate him, he
doesn't go very often as it is.
at first i was happy because i figured
we'd be saving some money, but formula
only cost us $17 a month and i can't see
whole milk being much cheaper at $3 a
gallon (well, that's 1%, i don't know if
the price varies). oh well.
my boy's all growed up!

aww!! We tried that with Caitlyn last
week.. nogo.. she spit up allll day. I
felt so bad.. so we're sticking with the
soy milk idea.. it isnt as nutritious as
formula, so we're also giving her
poly-vysol. I thought her lactose
intolerance would be gone by now.. thats
what the doc said. But apparently not.
OMG their birthdays are so soooon!! I
finished shopping the other day. I got her
a shopping kart (kid sized lol) and some
fake groceries and stuff.. and a shopping
basket. (lol on top of the other stuff i
told u about.)
I wanted to get that new kitty thing.. the
one that purrs and stuff and is really
life like.. but i dunno if she'd play with
it much.

Aww Finn's growing up! I hope he does well
on the milk! Kaylee does pretty good but
constipation has been a big issue
unfortunatly. I know what you mean about
thinking milk would be cheaper than
formula. I think a gallon of whole milk is
close to $4 here, not sure if it'd
different other places. But so far we've
been going through anywhere from 2-4
gallons a week! We got formula through wic
but always ran out so formula only cost us
$25/month!

Our milk is expensive tooooo!! Almost
$5!!
We went cold turkey with Oni. She LOOOOVED
the milk the first time I gave it to her.
I tried to give her formula the next time
and she THREW it!! She remembered the milk
and wanted it more!
If Finn's the phatty that Oni is...he'll
LERVE it!!
We've been giving Oni Poly ViSol since she
was about 3 months. I'm just finding out
that not everybody gives their kids
vitamins...

Jacob takes it straight.. HOW i dunno that
stuff SMELLS horrible. I cant imagine how

to her straight.

oh, he definitely is!
i think i have enough formula for 2 more
bottles, then it's straight milk all the
way. i just got back from walmart where i
stocked up on straw cups. he doesn't get
sippy cups (he doesn't get that you have
to tip it) but he loves straws.
oh, and a gallon of milk is less than $3
here so that was nice.

lol Caitlyn doesnt use a straw unless she
can tip it up like a sippy. Shes only
drank regular out of one ONCE then didnt
do it again. But she LOVES LOVES LOVES
sippys. She steals jacobs even when she
has her own.
Milk in Orlando is priced the same as
here.. about $3.59 a gallon. U can find it
on sale sometimes for like, 2.99 or 2.50
at CVS. I LOVE CVS.

so far, so good!
this morning i gave him half an apple and
some kix with milk in a straw cup. up
until now he hadn't been getting food for
breakfast regularly and would just have a
bottle. he ate all his food and drank over
half the milk no problem, then he finished
the milk with his morning snack.
he didn't even react when he first tasted
it, just sucked it down like it was
formula.
i knew we wouldn't have a problem!
we're still going to give it to him in a
bottle at night. i don't really know how
long we'll do that for.
