Having a Period And Still Being Pregnant? Posted: 10-16-07 23:45pm
I am about a week late for my period now
and I am ALWAYS regular, to the exact date
almost, give or take a day MAX. Anyways,
here's the deal: my bf and I last had sex
in the middl eo fthis past June (it's now
middle of October). I was on the pill at
the time, however the night we had sex was
the night I had taken my last pill (I was
going off of it because it was really
making me gain alot of weight and I was
having ridiculous mood swings). Anyways,
we didn't use a condom however he pulled
out LONG before he came (he finished off
in the washroom). This was a Sunday night,
and I got my period that Wednesday, as
expected. I have had four REGULAR periods
since then (all cam ewhen expected, lasted
7 days, and were fairly heavy). I have had
no spotting or anything. Doesn't sound
like pregnancy, does it? Well I'm not a
week late for my period and I haven't been
feeling so hot this past month. I would be
about 4 months now if I was actually
pregnant, and my stomach isn't hard per
se, however it feels bloated and very
awkward. I know something is up but I just
want to get the notion of being pregnant
out of my head. If I was pregnant would I
be showing by now? Do you guys think I
could be pregnant/what are my chances of
being pregnant? What else could this be?

i seriously doubt you are pregnant since
you have had 4 regular periods
but since you are a week late i'd go ahead
and take a preg. test just to be sure...
just a little fyi: the pull out method is
not a form of BC... and does not prevent
pregnancy.. =)

oh I definitely know it's not effective;
the only reason we did that is because I
was on the pill at the time. In the entire
3 years we've been dating we've only had
unprotected sex twice (that being one of
them), and the other time I was on the
pill as well.

heyy i just wanted to let you know that
ive been sort of the samme situation.. and
i know how you feel.. ive been doingg lots
of research and you can have regular
periods while your pregnant. not to freak
you out of anything.. see my periods are
always regular but the past 3 have been 2
weeks apart.. pregnancy can also cause
ireegular periods. but if you have a
period while pregnant they say it shoulod
be light and mine are heavy like yours.. i
took a test. it was neg.. just take one.

mine have ALL been regular, except for
this past one which is a week late. my
other 4 were down to the exact, as they
usually are. I suppose it could be
stressed seeing as I'm finishing up at
University and things are quite hectic.
Worrying about this stuff doesn't help
either

it deff could be stress with finishing up
at the university that would put alot of
stress on you but just take a test and see
because im having the same symtoms and im
going for blood work to see if i am so

Ok ladies I'm on CD32 my AF was due on
19th and it didn't show up and today
(21st)I'm spotting a little could that be
the start of AF showing up or could I be
just spotting.
I also have had pain in the lower left
side of my back for a couple of days !
Would that also be a early sign for me
being pregnant or not? Thanks!!!

having bad cravings for ice cream and
stuff and my stomach seemed to be getting
bigger. But now since i started my period
i seem to gag on food and when i wake up i
just seem to feel sick and it says if your
pregnate your period should be light and
mine is heavy like normal im very scared
and worried if im pregnate or not and need
to know can some one help me
