Is This a Yeast Infection? Posted: 10-17-07 11:18am


I'm just wondering if what I have is a yeast infection. It burns during and after intercourse and it itches any other time. It itched like todays before i had intercourse and when i did have intercourse it burned during and after. The next day I had intercourse again and it did the same thing. The day after that which was yesterday it hasn't been itching or anything. I don't have any kind or discharge nor does it smell bad. Not sure what's up with it I just need advice.

It could be the beginnings of a yeast infection......but if I were you I would go and get checked out because you never know.

Do you have discharge? Does it smell like yeast? Call your doctor and get it checked out. It could be something other than a yeast infection and you don't want to treat for yeast and have it be something else.

My discharge is normal. I'm not really sure what yeast smells like.

Like bread. When I had a yeast infection, it smelled like I was baking bread in my undies. It itched so bad I couldn't go anywhere without wanting to scratch it. And how attractive is that? Scratching your privates in public? Yikes!

LOL...yeh I could imagine. Okay I checked and no it doesn't smell like that. It smells normal to me. Do you think it could be some kind of irritation? I started taking prenatals, do you think that has something to do with it because my urine have been like a real bright yellow since I started taking them.
