When Should Hpt Come Up Positive? Posted: 10-17-07 11:39am
Hi,
I apologize if this is lengthly, but
I figure more information the better. My
last normal period was 9/5/07. My cycle
is normally 27 to 28 days. I am really
regular. My husband and I had unprotected
sex on the weekend of 9/15/07. I
experienced lower belly cramping
periodically the following week. Figured
it was just pre-period cramping, but it
was different. I started to spot on
9/28/07 and I figured my period must have
started. Only it was about 3 to 4 days
early, only lasted two days, was very
light and I barely had any cramping. My
cramps normally last the first two days of
my period and will wake me from a dead
sleep they are so intense. Implantation
bleeding maybe? Once the bleeding stopped
I started to get pregnancy sypmtoms.
Sensitive breasts, increased sense of
smell, nausea (particularly in the
afternoons and evenings), light headed and
dizzy, increased hunger, bloated belly,
hot flashes, increase in body temperature
and headaches. Then, on 10/12/07 I got
really intense cramps. My stomach felt
really heavy and the cramping was mainly
in the lower belly, although my entire
stomach hurt. That lasted three days. I
still have most of the symptoms and my
nipples have gotten larger and seem to be
getting a little darker. Also, right
after the 28th, sex was really weird. My
husband and I both noticed I was really
tight down there. Then after the cramping
on the 12th, I was really "open" and wet.
By 10/15/07 my temperature has jumped
another 7 to 9 degrees. I have taken four
HPT tests including today, 10/17/07, and
they have all come up negative. I have a
doctor's appointment for 10/22/07 for a
blood test. Could I be pregnant and it's
just too
early to tell or is there something
seriously wrong with me? Any insite would
be helpful. Thank you.

a hpt will work after your missed period
or go get a blood test
all the things youve described could be
pms symptoms
