We went out this morning and looked at
cars again.. and we've narrowed it down to
3.. these are the exact cars from their
website (www.uftring.com)
This one.. 2007 Malibu Maxx SS
18 mpg city 26 mpg highway
very roomy
comes with a year of XM and OnStar
$18590
Then, theres theres the 2007 Saab 9-3
Aero. its used but only has 7200 miles on
it.. the new ones were the same body style
and 15,000$ more so used it is lol.
22mpg city/30mpg highway
leather seats
navigation
$27490
and finally.. the 2008 Equinox LS..
leather seats
6 disc changer
voice activated system (i honestly dont
know what it activates lol)
16mpg city/24mpg highway
$28990
we love all 3, and cant seem to lean
towards one specifically. They all fall
into our payment range.. and when we told
Jacob to go to the one he liked the best
he kept going to the Equinox. But the
Malibu has a sunroof.. and the Saab has
nav.
GRR lol.
HELP!

If you where to get #3, I would consider
looking into Avalaches or any 4 door
trucks. Im tall, joeys tall and huge, and
we still got plenty of room. They are very
roomy and very nice.

There is a HUGE price difference in those.
$10,000!
I'd choose the smaller one. Not just
because it is cheaper but because it is
easier to get in and out of parking stalls
- no where has parking stalls for bigger
cars/SUVs. I know. I drive a truck! Cars
are less expensive to fill up. Need I say
more? Dude, it costs me nearly $70 to fill
up my truck and gas is not going to get
any cheaper!

bigger vehicles do cost more to fill, but
they also (on adverage) have bigger tanks
to fill, what you really want if your into
gas, is making sure you got a car good on
gas.. it all depends on what you want it
for

I actually need a truck. But I don't think
Sandra is hauling wood or dirt bikes
around in her vehicle...
The same still applies on the prices of
the vehicles she showed. They go from
18,000 to 28,000 that is a huge difference
and if it is merely about what you want,
I'd choose the lesser of the evils. If
evil is money...

I like the SUV too. You also need to
think about what is going to be the best
in icky weather now that you are living in
an area that gets snow, sleet, etc.
My friend has a Malibu, and she's had a
lot of problems with it.
I like the SAAB, but they are very
expensive to repair and I'm not sure how
practical it would be with 2 kids.
I want a new car so bad!!!!!

$70 Ingi?? It takes atleast $90 to fill up
mine!!!
Yea Sandra may not need a truck. I need
one because they are actually the only
thing thats easy for me to get out of and
get mel in and out of. We also haul our
four-wheeler and motorcycle on it.

yeah trucks are nice.. we're driving
around Robs dads Colorado 4 door.. its
nice and roomy, but we dont really need
the bed.
We had a Malibu Maxx before, and it was
NIIICE and i REALLY want another one. The
one we're looking at has a DVD player in
the back for the kids, and a power
sunroof. Plus it fits the double stroller
well.. but thats about ALL that fits back
there in the hatch. Thats why we started
looking at the Equinox.
As for gas... its not a big deal. We dont
go hardly anywhere.. except Rob going to
work, which is only 9 miles away, and then
to his parents house a few streets away.
So we go thru a tank about every 2-3
weeks. We filled up the day we got here
and just filled up again today and even
then the truck was just under a quarter
tank.
We talked about the Equinox.. it is pretty
expensive for what it is.. so we went back
and started looking at the used trucks.
Found a used Trail Blazer for only
$19,000..
and a 2007 Cobalt LT for only $16,995 its
fully loaded, has heated leather seats,
onstar, xm.. lots of stuff.

It was a POS!!! Had electrical problems
throughout the whole car! It was in the
shop more than it was on the road. It only
had 3,000mi on it when I traded it. It was
too little anyways. what I would really
love to have back is my 2006 M3!! But it
was too small for a carseat with a base.
It was literaly 7 inches from the roof
I cried everyday
for 1 week after I taded it in lol

haha yeah i had a 2006 325 Ci silver
convertible and i traded that in for the
Malibu Maxx when we found out i was prego
with Jacob. I didnt want a convertible and
a kid, plus convertibles arent very smart
where it snows. POOR insulation.
I miss my carrrrrr.
maybe now that im *hopefully* working i'll
get a car of my own.. theres a BMW
dealership not far from here that has
pretty good deals. I wont buy another new
one.. they depreciate too fast. Used is
fine.

honestly, I wouldn't get any of them. I
wont buy a car that is more than $12000.
you can get a brand new great car for that
much. Maybe i'm just cheap.
