Does This Sound Like Stress Or Pregnancy? Posted: 10-17-07 17:22pm
I'm on the mirena, this sept. is a year.
I had a period on sept 16 for a few days,
the day before that I was having bladder
infection problems they lasted for a
couple days with my period. Two weeks
later on the 29th and 30th I had brown
heavy spotting and had to wear a tampon,
then it stopped on the 30th. Two weeks
later, I had light yellow to light brown
spotting when I wipe first thing in the
morning on the 14th which would be
considered the first day of my period. I
usually just start red normal flow. Then
the 15th first thing in the morning had
very small light pink turned to light
yellowish brown to then clear,(only when I
wipe) then stopped in the evening again.
Then the 16th spotting in the morning a
little brownish red and kept doing lightly
when I'd wipe, stopped in the evening. Now
on the 17th I have about the same a little
more consistent but still so faint and
brown not red and not much cramping if any
just some slight, i do wear a panty liner
which doesn't even come close to saturate.
I usually just bleed red with not many
symptoms. If anyone can be of help I
would greatly appreciate it. Sorry this
was so long and full of detail. Thanks for
the time to read it.

Sounds like it might be caused by the
coil.
Normally bleeding doesn't mean pregnancy.
But if you are at all concerned, please
take a pregnancy test.

I didn't know the coil could do that. I
am going to take another test though just
to make sure. This is still unusual even
since I've been on the mirena. Thanks for
your help though.
