Pain In Left Hip Please Help! Posted: 10-18-07 07:42am


First off i am a 25 year old male in good shape not overweight. I have a very very very sharp pain that will shoot from my hip down my left leg and even rest in my calf muscle? This happens with different movements throughout out the day. sitting hurts some time but not always and some times when i sit more on the left cheek it will just send a huge pain down my left leg.And dont let me tell you what happens when i sneeze i about cry it hurts so bad. .. I did hurt my back about 6 months ago the chryo said i have inflamed discs. Does anyone have an idea what is going on? Also i have been seeing the chyro alot and he can pop my lower back and offer some relief but not totally... Any ideas will be great.

Hello Bartman, I am not a doctor, however, when I had a similar pain my spinal surgeon told me it was caused by a pinched nerve. It it something you do not want to ignore. DO seek professional medical evaluation and advice from a neurologist or spine doctor. Chiros may have their place, however, in my humble opinion you need to see a neuroglogist.
