Im going to be 16 soon and ive NEVER been
on a date. Is that wierd? my family tells
me in gorgeous but i dont see it but im
happy with myself. I make friends easily
and most people call me a social
butterfly, and i talk to guys all the
time! its just wierd, when it come to guys
my friends always tell me that certain one
think im pretty, typical guy stuff, but
when it comes to dances and dating ive
never been on one, or asked on one for
that matter. Ive been offered modeling
jobs before so I hope its not that im
hideous os anything.
it really frustratingg. I dont know what
im doing wrong. I try my best to be a
really nice person but im obviosuly doing
something wrong
my older sister is absolutely no help.
shes been dating guy, her first bf, for
almost two years now.
any advice!?

You're not doing anything wrong, but i do
want to point out that it's not really
about looks! I'm sure you are a nice
person so no need to rely on what you look
like or how many modeling jobs you've been
offered
I had never really been out on dates until
I was 17 and I'm now almost 20 with the
same guy. Just be yourself and stop
thinking about finding a boyfriend because
somtimes great guys come when you're not
paying attention.
Not willing to wait? Who said a guy always
needs to make the first move? Good luck!

Well from a guys point of view:
Guys are very shy. Most guys wont go after
the beauty queen because we have too much
pride and don't want to be shot down,
that's why you see a lot more "pretty"
girls getting dates than "gorgeous" ones.
If you see a guy you want, then flirt a
little, he will get the hint.
You're not doing anything wrong at all,
just flirt a bit with a guy you like and
he will get it. But models usually find it
hard to get dates because guys believe
that she has guys all over her and she is
out of his league.

probably guys are just imitated with you.
guys are like that especially if they like
you. so don't worry why you haven't had
any date yet. you're still young. and
believe me, it'll soon come.

I don't really think a rave is a
productive place to find a
boyfriend/girlfriend.
Nor is it particularly safe either...

whatsoever & have met some talented
people there in fact i met a London film
director & as a consequence acted in
her Vampire Film! Also met a cute Polish
boy there......

Whether you do drugs or not doesn't make
them safe. The chances of others doing
drugs around you are extremely high, and
why would you surround yourself with that?
Furthermore, why would you tell a 16 year
old girl to subject herself to that? Not
that she's silly enough to listen...

yes of course. 16 yrs old better to join
some college courses - more
productive....learning + meeting other
motivated people....But i should add I
have an ambitious 16 yr old and he is not
silly enough to follow the crowd no matter
what his surroundings or mates are
indulging in....he is venomously against
alcohol and drugs. Funnily enough he was
invited to a halloween rave last nite and
declined saying he had college work to do
4 the following day! Anyhow i do agree
much better really to go to college or
teenage discos etc....

Well good for your son. I have a hard time
believing though that any mother would
direct someone to a rave to "meet people"
