I know that your HCG level is supposed to double every 2-3 days. Mine at 5w6 was 15,400 and 3 days later it was 20,100. It didn't double whatsoever, not even close and it got me really worried because I've gone through a miscarriage before but my friends told me not to worry because as soon as your HCG reaches a certain number, it takes longer to double. Is this true? But 15,000-20,000 still seems kinda low for me at 6 weeks. I guess I'm prepared to miscarry Sad but I won't give up hope just yet.

Every situation is different. This is something you should speak to your doctor about.

Good luck!

My doctor said "it's nothing to worry about yet" but he also said that last time and I ended up in the hospital for 4 days. Rolling Eyes

Everyone is different with the HCG...some people have lower hcg's...I wish you all the best. It is slightly concerning that it didnt double. but please Stay positive.
At 10weeks pregnant I started bleeding, and my hcg was followed for about a week and it was declining. My dr said I was miscarying...I am now 24 weeks preggers and baby is fine.
Between 8-10 weeks hcg can reach is peak and begin to decline after that, but usually stays above 20, 000.
