Do I Worry Too Much? Help!

Am I worrying too much if I just got a pregnancy test done, last week, and it turned out negative? I'm thinking it's wrong cuz it's only been three weeks since I had sex...I am also on the birth control shot that is supposed to be highly effective and I am still worried that I am pregnant. I dont have any symptoms really except constipation and my stomach has been kinda gasy. But that could just be anxiety? Do I worry too much or what?

Hi angela1, I always worried about stuff too much too even when it was stupid stuff that made no sense. It got so bad that I eventually got panic disorder which stinks! I'm going into the 11th week of my cbt group and weaning off drugs and feeling great now though. You owe it to yourself to give cbt a try, it really works wonders fast Smile the two books we are using in my group are really good and I would recommend them both highly: been there, done that? Do this! By sam obitz for anxiety and mastery of your anxiety and panic-third edition by michelle craske and david barlow for panic disorder.

give cbt a try. I didn't learn how to stop worrying until I learned the tools in cbt that showed me how. Read the obitz book as it is a really short and easy to absorb introduction to cbt and see if there are any cbt groups in your area Laughing
