I have a soft splint my regular dentist
made for me. (I wonder if it is not enough
of one to really help). It cost $200.
Should I try wearing it 24/7? The plastic
is kinda thick at the top of the gum and
kinda irritates after awhile. I've been
wearing it just at night.
Have an appt. on Friday with a specialist
but I'm afraid of the cost. I''ve had this
splint since the first of August.

what did the doctor say with regards to
wearing it? usually at first you wear it
24/7. dont worry about the cost--feeling
better is much more important than the
money. you can work out a payment plan
that will work for you. just ask.
