A study was published this month in the
journal of Diabetes Care that found people
who walk at least 21 minutes or more each
day have a significant reduction for
developing diabetes.

That could be true for Type 2 diabetes,
but not for type 1! Type 1 is an
autoimmune disease where the body attacks
itself and causes the pancreas not to
work. There's nothing you can do to
prevent it, unlike type 2 where lack of
exercise and being overweight usually
contribute to the disease.
