I am really confused, sad, and upset. I
have been wit my boyfriend for 7 years and
have been having unprotected sex for 5
years and have not gotten pregnant. At
first we were not planning on me getting
pregnant but it would be ok if i did. Now
we want to get pregnant and I CANT!!!!! i
do not know why? What is wrong with me?
I am now 23 years old but when I was 12
years old I had surgery where doctors
removed my right fallopian tube and ovary.
Then when i was 13 they noticed that my
uterus was shaped like a heart as opposed
to a pear. It had an extra "part" that was
divided with a septum. I had surgery to
remove the septum and the extra piece of
uterus. Doctors sdaid I would be just
fine.... wpmen concieve with one ovary all
the time and my uterus was fine. I even
remember my aunt asking a nurse if I would
be able to have children whe I got older
and she said " You shouldnt worry about
having children right now.... you are only
13 years old"....... But now I am
worried.... I have seen my doctor for
abdominal pain and she did a sonogram of
my abdomen..... they didnt see anything
abnormal. I have not been to a
gynocologist though. What could be wrong
with me? Could I be infirtlie?
When I meet someone who is pregnant I
hate them on the spot....... Cant stand
them.Its jelousy I know.
Help!!!!!!

You need to see a gynecologist and
possibly get some fertility testing done.

We can fully understand your frustration.
I have been off bc pills for over 6 years
but not actively trying. My husband and I
have not been using anything for a few
years now and nothing. Now we are
actively trying and can't get pregnant.
So I just wanted you to know that you are
NOT alone. We are always here if you need
to vent.
And, I agree with Ingi, you need to see a
doctor. If you have not been to a gyno in
a while, get an appointment and tell them
that you are trying to get pregnant and
you want to get a check up to see that you
can in fact have a baby.

I agree with ingi and star.. get an
appointment with a gyn and go from there..
I have had 2 laparoscopies for
endometriosis, dermoids and cysts and was
told that I would possibly never have any
children.. I have had 1 successful
pregnancy and am now trying for a second!!
So anything is possible when you have the
right help! even if you have to do
invitro due to the fact of only 1 ovary...
