Hi, I think you are well educated, so I'm going to ask you to help find a cure for my dad with liver cancer with not much time left.

-My dad is around 55 years old.

-He is diabetic.

-Under his belly is fluid that makes his belly bloated(caused by bad liver?).

-He has Liver Cancer.

-Since a few days ago, he had a kidney failure and internal bleeding caused by the Liver Cancer.

-Not eating much.

-Very tired.

-Being taken cared of at University of California San Francisco(UCSF).

-I'm getting serious implications that there's nothing they can do except to ease his pain and wait for him to past away! what

-Pain on legs and belly

PLEASE HELP ME FIND A SOLUTION!! Please reply soon

I'm very sorry your father is suffering from such a severe disease.
I think he is at the right place and doctors know what can be done in that situation.
Advanced liver failure is the major cause for ascites (accumulation of fluid in abdominal cavity)
Your father is feeling loss of appetite and abdominal pain due to serious accumulation of fluid. Is he experiencing frequent heartburn?
As the condition worsens, however, the swelling may extend up the leg (pain in his leg) As more fluid accumulates, it may spread up into the chest cavity (pleural effusion) and cause him difficulty breathing.
Liver and kidney failure are complications of liver cancer.
Liver cancer is rarely discovered early (has symptoms only in advanced stages) and is difficult to control with current treatments. That's why the prognosis is often poor. Treatments only can help control pain and improve quality of life.
When was your father diagnosed with liver cancer?
I don't know if there can be done anything to help your father, but if you like you can talk to his doctors about medicine called sorafenib.
It's a first effective systemic treatment that cuts off the blood supply feeding the tumor. It is believed to work on tumors within the liver and those that have spread elsewhere.
