Poor Boy :(
Posted: 10-25-07 15:40pm

Josephs been throwing up all evening , sinc ehe took his bath. My friend tanja thought maybe he drank alot of the bathwater with the soap in it and that is why hes sick but that was like 3 hrs ago and he is still gagging and throwing up. he was asleep for a little while but then he just woke up and threw up again. but he isnt even throwin gup much at all because of how much he threw up earlier. I think ima let him sleep on the couch or in my bed im not sure, if hes gonna be pukin all night. Feels like its gonna be a long night for me ugh. Poor boy looks soo pale too , i feel bad for him.

Have you tried giving him Pedialyte? Have you taken his temp? If he's ingested bath water, you might need to take him in to a doctor. He might be poisoned. You should look on the back of the soap container and see what it says about ingestion.

I have pedialyte they only have grape available here though and he refuses to drink it. He hasnt felt hot at all, and he just recently had that pale look, ill have to check the bottle it was the huggies grins and giggles, oatmeal body wash, that i put in the bathtub. I didnt see him drinkin directly from the tub just the faucet but my friend tanja said he drank alota bath water. I need to find my thermometer too. Cuz it could be abug even.

Check the bottle and maybe call a doctor to be safe. I wouldn't let him go to sleep without making sure he's not poisoned.

What if my baby accidentally inhaled or ingested Gerber Vapor Bath or Gerber Baby Washes?
It would not be toxic, and probably not even irritating, if a small amount were ingested. If your are concerned of the amount of product ingested, contact your local Poison Control Center or your Health Care Provider.

Well im trying to get a hold of my friend brandy to see if sh ecan watch jordynne while i go up to the hospital. Because i really duno what else would cause his puking , hes like gagging till his face is red now. and we all ate the same foods etc. but i dont see how drinking bathwater with body wash in it would make him sick either ya know. but im afraid to sleep cuz i thnk he might like gag in his sleep and like choke or something. I had went to put him to bed at 9 when he threw up again so i laid him on the couch and hes been asleep on and off, waking up puking etc.

If they don't call back in 10 minutes, I would just take her with you. 4 hours is a long time already. I wouldn't wait.

Oh poor boy, I hope he gets better!

Brayden has been throwing up today and I have no idea why! He doesn't have a temp and he plays like he is just fine but he's been throwing up, so I know how worried you must be! I hope you are able to figure out what is wrong!!

well it wasnt anything with the bath water because when i was waiting for my friend to call back jordynne started throwing up, joseph feels extra warm. he was ok througout the night htough until he had some milk this morning he threw it up but he was also being a whiny brat cuz he wanted soda and flipped out cuz he couldnt get any, so im guessing it must be a virus or something cuz jordynne doesnt drink the bath water lol. so blah i dunno. im tired of cleaning up puke though i can tell ya that, today feels like its gonna be along long day though.

no becuase i knew it wasnt the body wash in the bathwater, jordynne was sick too and my friends son whose been at my house all week i found out is doing the same thing. I almost went up to the hospital today but they were keepin down pedialyte. but i had to buy gatorade cuz i can only use my star card at the shoppette and px cu zi have no money so i could only get gatorade. At first jordynne seemed really sick but i think she was more tired. cuz she went for a nap and was better when she woke up. I also had no gas last night either, well not enough to get to the hospital i realized. and i have no money. other then my card wich u can only use on base. so that really sucks,. but i put gas in my car today while they were open in case. so far they are doing good, joseph had a slight fever. The clinic just said if the fever gets higher and they are keeping NOTHING at all down to go to the hospital becaus ehtey couldnt see em at the clinic today cuz they had no appts and said some crap about a 3-4 hour wait for a walk in person.
