Q: Stabbing Pains In My Uterus?
asked by: kaiteo on October 27th, 2007

A few minutes ago, these pulsing pains started happening. They're not unbearable, but they feel like sharp pains in my uterus. Right in the middle.

I'm getting a little bit worried, although I always am...I'm so paranoid something's going to go wrong. Has anyone else had these?

I don't think that the stretching pains were in my uterus. I think I felt mine closer to my hip bones. But who really knows where I was feeling them. They were sharp pulsing pains though.

It's too late to call my Dr. right now. He's probably sleeping, anyways. I'm definitely going to call tomorrow. I'm not too worried since I'm not bleeding.

I'm 11 weeks, by the way. I just hope the second trimester is better than the first.

There is normaly a doctor on call when you call the office. You normaly talk to a nurse and she gathers your info then pages the doctor, then the doctor usually call you back within like 10-15 mins. That's with MOST dr. offices, not just OB's.

This is just a small OBGYN clinic. They don't do that. The pains are gone, anyways.

:[ I'm not looking forward to it.

He should have an aswering service, you're right. I really don't think he does, though.
Maybe. I couldn't have even gone to the ER. I don't have a car. It's dead. Luckily my dad is helping us with that.

I think she is talking about the car! I hope

Im sure you are fine, but like everyone else said, I would make sure that your doctor gives you a 24 hour phone # that you can call if something happens
