After years of repeated UTIs I recently
underwent ultrasound and x rays and was
told, initially, that one of my kidneys is
scarred at its upper pole and "full" at
the bottom, whilst the other one is
healthy.
This is all I was told. I was then sent
for an IVP and have a follow up
appointment to see the doctor in
November.
I am confused by what he told me, though.
He said the scarring was irreversible and
that the "fullness" can only be likened to
somebody who is overweight.
