My Great Uncle... Health Care Amazes Me Posted: 10-28-07 09:16am
My mum's uncle had cancer of the colon and
it took two operations to remove it and
then he had to wait for the wound to heal
before he had chemo, the wound wasn't
healing and when he went for a check up he
was told that he also had lung cancer. The
worst bit is that he also contracted the
hospital bug MRSA while he was there and
guess what?.... They FORGOT yes forgot to
send him the letter telling him he had
MRSA

I am so sorry I ope that he gets better. I
do want t tell you that I am a nursing
Student and MRSA is not as bad as they are
making it out to be. Everyone has MRSA in
there system and it just takes something
to set it off. If it is treated then there
is nothing to worry about. I hop that he
gets better and his wounds heal soon!!

His doctor did tell him that, it;s not the
fact that he has it that upset him because
it happens it's the fact that they didn't
send the letter which upsets him the most
