Missed 2 pills and had intercourse - could I be pregnant ? Posted: 10-28-07 17:45pm
I have been taking birth control for over
a year now...last month I took 2 pills in
one day, this happened twice in the same
month...at the end of my pills, i missed 2
pills (due to me overtaking 2) during
which I had intercourse..3 days later my
period came (2 days early) and lasted for
3 days (which is normal for me) Then 2
days later I had spotting (which is very
unusual for me). A week later I was sick
to my stomach for a week and now my
breasts are very tender and I have been
getting cramps. I am not due to start my
period for 9 days, on 10-27 i took a
pregnancy test and it said
negative...however I'm pretty sure that it
was way too early to take a test. Is it
possible to be pregnant? Or could these
signs just be because I messed up taking
my bc.

its too early to test
wait util you MISS your period THEN test
it could also be from messing up your bc

we're in the same boat huh? i wish i had
advice to give you...but I'm waiting to
see if I'm pregnant myself!! I had sex 3
times in one week and in that week I
messed up my BC twice! (The time change
has just added to my worries)...but I've
been spotting for 3 days...cramping...you
know the drill. My period isn't due for
another week and I'm seriously panicking!

When you start missing pills what will
ultimately happen is exactly what you got.
it is called breakthrough bleeding and it
is due to the imbalance of your hormones.
Your chances of pregnancy are slim and
usually those tests are right. Take your
pills on time or you will have endless and
needless bleeding!

does that explain the endless clear
discharge...i dont know about d_hope...but
its so bad im convinced i've started my
period and i rush to the bathroom to find
out its just like...oozing discharge
lol...but its clear and it doesn't smell
or anything

Discharge really isn't a good indicator of
pregnancy. Just wait until your period is
due and then test.
