Girlfriend Was On Pill, Forgot to Get More, Started Again Posted: 10-28-07 23:52pm
A few questions.
1. How long after starting the pill can
you start assuming it is working? A month,
two months?
2. My Gf was on the pill and she somehow
managed to not get her next months
perscription filled. We had sex with a
condom between then and now (took her
about a week and a half to get going
again). She got started on the pill again
about a week or two ago and the mid 20's
of October is when her period should of
started. She says she is about 2-3 days
late. Is it possible she is pregnant
(condom leakage) or is the pill altering
her cycle?
3. If pregnant what ways are there to
abort early on?

The PILL DOES alter the womans cycle, and
she will have her period when the PILL
says she will have her period.
A womans period comes during the last week
of the pills.
The pill is effective after you have taken
it for 7 days, one full week.
It is unlikely that she is pregnant, but
abortion is available around 5 weeks.

So it's most likely that the pill after
restarting it has caused her cycle to
change dates.
What if she is pregnant and due to the
pill making me believe she is just having
a cycle alteration I don't do anything.
5 week mark passes and I'm screwed!

Have her take a pregnancy test if you're
worried!!
