According to your main symptoms of
frequent bowel movement, it seems that you
are experiencing diarrhea. Diarrhea is
usually a symptom of some kind of
intestinal infection. Intestinal
infections can be proven by isolating the
infective agent in the stool. In rare
cases, diarrhea can be due to an
inflammatory bowel disorders like
ulcerative colitis or Crohn’s disease.
(enterocolitis). These diseases are
identified only with colonoscopy and
biopsy. Diarrhea can be also due to a
functional disorder called " Irritable
bowel syndrome (IBS)".
The therapy for this condition will depend
upon the cause but any kind of diarrhea is
generally treated with supplemental
therapy (water and salts) to prevent
dehydration. Fiber supplements are given
for treating constipation not diarrhea!
