You should also be urinating after sex to
push out all the bacteria that may have
entered your urethra. Sex is most often
the cause of bladder infections. Go to the
bathroom as soon after sex as you can.

Then you must be getting them some other
way. You can talk to your doctor about
preventative antibiotics. Which are low
dose antibiotics you would take after sex
or other times when you think you may be
triggering an infection. Keep a diary of
what you are doing and when you get the
infections. It takes repeated infections
before doctors will do the preventative
therapy ~ and if you know can pinpoint the
cause, you are halfway there.
Good luck!

I get urinary tracy infections alot and it
is frustrationg. I do know that parfumed
soap can cause it or bubble baths, wiping
from back to front, carefull on the
laundry detergent use hypoallergenic stuff
for your underwear, and I had a problem
that my bladder would not empty all the
way so I had to get my uerethra stretched
(ouch). Good luck!

Drink Lots of Water!! Posted: 11-19-07 19:47pm
I've had 2 UTI's this past year, and it
was because i was too busy to drink much
water. You need it to flush out your
system in addition to external hygiene. I
have been drinking water like crazy and
have not had a bladder infection since.
When you are taking pills and trying to
get rid of the infection, you have to
drink tons of water as well. Also, drink
cranberry juice, it prevents bacteria from
sticking to your vaginal walls.

you could also try taking cranberrie pills
every day along with your daily vitamins.
This is also a form a preventative therapy
and all you have to do is go to a doctor.
And as stating previously drink plenty of
water. But keeping a log of your
infections is a great idea. If you see a
pattern then go to a doc.

I have had the problem of constant U.T.Is
since i was young my doctor diagnosed me
with reflex of the kidney. as for what i
do i drink lots of cranberry juice and
take showers at least twice daily to keep
that area clean. Even if you are sexually
active and do all the right things it can
still cause an infection. Check with your
doctor as soon as possible

Urinary tract infection can be cured with
homeopthy. Staphysagria is the most common
remedy and will work in about 60% of the
cases. Other cases will need a different
homeopathic remedy.
If you take antibiotics for bladder
infections repeatedly you risk creating an
antibiotic resistant urinary tract
infection. Something the doctors don't
tell you about but believe me they do
exist. If you have chronic UTI problems
find yourself a good homeopath. I did and
I am soooo glad. I never get UTI any more
and the last couple of infections I had
cured with homeopathy. It was a long time
ago now.
