Testicular Implants

I'm hoping someone out there may have some advice on testicular implant surgery. I had a testical removed in my mid teens due to a sports injury. After more than a decade of feeling inadequate, I decided to have a saline-filled implant. It's been 10 days since the surgery, and I think the doctor screwed up. It looks noticeably bigger than the other one, and i'm in real pain any time I have an erection (to the point that it wakes me up at night, and I have to pull really hard on the implant to move it away from the shaft and wait until the erection goes away. It feels like a knife wound along the length of the shaft when it's happening. I believe he sutured the implant way too high up and way too close to the shaft. He chose to insert it thru a cut just above my penis called an inguinal incision instead of directly into the scrotum itself. I found out that's where roughly 75% of incisions are typically done for this procedure mostly due to a preference from the surgeon. (it looks more like a tumor in the very upper portion of the left side of my scrotum) is this a normal location? He told me prior to surgery that I should tug on it to get it into normal position, but I don't really feel any "give" when I pull. I'm sure when I go see him, he won't admit there's anything wrong for fear of a lawsuit. I don't want to sue, I just want to feel and look normal again. Kinda worried now. Any advice out there? Anyone know of a doctor in texas with experience in testicular implants -- maybe that can advise me on correcting this?

After a lot of surgeries things stay swollen for a while and that can make things look and feel different. If you're really uncomfortable go back to your doctor and get examined again..Or go to a different doctor for their opinion.
