No Halloween For Me :(

how sad...
finn's being far too beastly tonight to
dress up and go anywhere! we were going to
dress finn up and go pick up my brother
and go to the big parade downtown. the
parade doesn't start until 7, which is
finn's bedtime, so judging by how he's
acting now i can't even imagine how insane
he'd be in a couple hours.
oh, and to make it worse, our condos don't
do trick-or-treating so i don't even get
to have fun giving out candy.
we're still dressing him up another night
just for pictures. i can't miss his first
halloween! well, i guess i already did.
by the way, he was going to be a zombie.

Aww, poor Finn. I'm sorry he's being that
way. Alyvia's actually in a great mood,
but bills hit us hard this month and we
didn't have enough left over to spend on a
cute costume. I have a pair of fairy wings
that I might try to put on her (I kinda
don't see it happening without a fight)
and a pair of kitty ears, so I might take
some pictures later on for fun... but
that's about as far as we're going to go
for Halloween.

I'm sorry B. I am sorta in the same boat.
I was going to go get Luke a peapod
costume and then hold him while I passed
out my candy but my uncle said that last
year only one kid came by his townhome so
I figured it wouldn't be worth it to spend
money on a costume.

i'm sad, halloween is my favorite!
oh well, it's not like we were taking him
out trick-or-treating. i'll just have to
look forward to next year when he's old
enough to do that!

Bridget, Please just put his little
costume on whenever he's in a good mood
and make some pics.....I want to see them
if it takes until Christmas! Where we live
there are no trick or treaters and I love
Halloween too...........I miss taking the
kids out and going through their candy
bags! Just think, next year you will have
two little goblins to dress!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We did go to a Halloween Party this past
Sat night and won first prize! Hope you
are doing well! Hugs!

I'm sorry your bummed out. My parents had
12 kids tops tonight, and the woman I take
care of only had 6. And that wasn't even
one at a time, it was in 2 groups and this
poor woman was so sad. She looked forward
to tonight for so long.
I didn't get to decorate the deck either.
We are low on funds first off, plus
Adriana spends a lot of time out there,
and I know she wouldn't leave anything
alone, plus nobody was home tonight so we
couldn't have left any lights on for
people to see it.
I can't wait to see pics of Finn's zombie
costume!

Rowan was super cranky when I woke her up
and got her in her costume... though in
hind sight I shouldn't have bothered, but
that is another story. I'm sorry you
missed Finns first Halloween, I know how
that feels! He would have made the cutest
zombie, that is such a good idea!

the same thing happened here.. we went
across the street from robs parents house
to their friends and both said they only
got just a few trick or treaters..
i dont get it.
they said they got more last year when it
was 10 degrees colder and RAINING.
