hey everybody i'm new to this, but i know
how some people comment back if you don't
have nothing nice to say don't say it ok
thanks, but anyways i'm 16 a junior in
high school and i'm with my boyfriend of
three years and i'm ready to have a baby
we both are and i'm ready i have family
who are ok with it (or who will not get
mad) because early pregnancy is known
about in our family, but my boyfriend is
ready too and we both have jobs and we
have already saved up alot of money to go
ahead and have a baby our family have alot
of money and we really will not have to
buy anything at all, so what are some
advice on what to do and best ways to get
pregnant and oh yeah i'm turning 17 on
november.5, 2007 of this month

im 16 yrs old and im having a girl very
soon
let me ask you a few questions
how much do you and your bf make?
where do you work?
howwill you go to school?
how will you work and go to school and
take care of your kid?
how will you pay for daycare and
everything else?
where do you live?
do you live with your bf?
what if the baby has a deformity? are you
ready to deal with a handicapped child?
will you have to be on welfare?
how much money do you have saved up?

If you NEED ANY goverment assistance or
HELP..
You are NOT ready for a baby.
You should be able to take care of the
baby yourself.

This needs to be moved to either Teen
Pregnancy or Trying to Get Pregnant.

She did not say anything mean to you, so
don't be defensive. She asked perfectly
logical questions that ANY potential
parent needs to answer. You answered them,
clearly proving that you are not simply
one of many young teens who want a baby
because "it'll be fun"! We wanted to make
sure you'll be able to provide for the
child.

Do not post in all caps; it is childish
and irritating. If you could edit your
post so it was written like a mature
adult, I will then read it. Thank you.

Ok I'm 17 and a male, Trust me your
current boyfreind may seem like he suits
well and you may thing your ready for a
family, but really why not live a little
before going to have a child? My sister is
18 and is having a unplanned child,
needless to say she thought it would be
easier than it is. Also as someone else
brought up what if the child has a
disablity? Do you really think you would
be able to cope on just your boyfreinds
wage? I really hope you don't go ahead,
not so much for you but for the child. I
think i'm mature for my age and I sure as
heck know I would not be able to have a
child. Also remember at 17 you still have
lots of raving hormones and via evolution
your body is telling you your ready to get
pregnant, but is your mind?

do not post in all caps
you asked for help so reguardless of the
replies youll get ones you dont like and
ones you do
if youre sooo grown up then learn to deal
with it
so let me ask:how do you plan to go to
school and work and have time for your
baby?
youd have to go to school all day and work
all night to be able to support the baby
then when will you have time to spend with
the child?
i never said youre not ready so dont put
words in my mouth
im asking you a simple question to try and
help you out. if you cant answer without
getting mad then it shows theres something
wrong
like i said what if your baby is born
retartded? or with a handicap? you ready
to deal with that too?

My only concern is, are you going to
continue your education? Not to sound
nerdy here, but the younger generation of
women, given the opportunity they have
that their grandmothers did not, I feel
should all attend school and rise in
societal standards. There isn't anything
wrong with being a stay at home mom, but
it's such a waste of a potential mind of a
young lady in this era. Yes, I guess you
make 11 dollars an hour, which is pretty
decent for a 16 year old, but is that
going to be your goals, your limitations
for the next 50 years?
Blah, I just read that you don't need to
work since your boyfriend will support,
which seems too dependent and too similar
to the lifestyles of the past -_-. You
don't seem that concerned if he does "act
up" it seems? You'll just move on from him
to your family? hmm
You are lucky that you seem to have this
tons of money from your family and his
family. I hope you utilize it wisely.

I make 17 dollars and hour and my bf makes
15. We are 20 and 21. We have a decent
place and one 2006 car and a 1979 car. we
have a decent apartment and food on the
table.
We can barely support ourselves sometimes.
Kids cost, a lot.
