There are truly crazies out there, nothing to be done about it. We know that.

The great thing would be if only we could somehow not interface with them! But, it seems to me that God says, Hey meet these people, maybe you can make an impact on them. Maybe you can see what they are talking about and at the same time with equal time they will listen to what you are talking about.

I have NO clue! They say they get all their info from the BIBLE! People read it and turn the scriptures into what THEY WANT them to say. People are definatley twisted! It's sad really!

as for this.. theres a lady by the name of Shirley Phelps-Roper who protests outside of fallen soldiers funerals saying that the reason they are dead is Gods way of punishing us for sinning.

I hate those people.

That's what these cray people are doing. Saying that people die because they are sinners! And that the people who live are God''s chosen ones! They got the whole John 3:16 out of context if you ask me!

I see nothing wrong with preaching the word of God.. but Man O Man.. thats just..

and the thing that angers me off is that this woman is onvoking her right to free speech and expression by CONDEMNING THE PEOPLE THAT GAVE IT TO HER.

Aren't they the same ones that protest at soldiers funerals?..... the local motorcycle club had to keep them away from a funeral here....

Because, we are born with the knowledge in our hearts of what is right and wrong. It is the formation of our consiousness. A really good friend told me that is an ongoing process. It just doesn't one day stop and then, we graduate to consiousness. It is through all that we learn every single day, whether it is a hard day or a great day. Sometimes, even the hard days give us a chance to really sleep well at night and be up for whatever comes the next day.

For myself, I have been blessed to live in the country most of my life and know that is a priviledge. But city people have the greatest chance to interface with people and make a difference. If, you are going in as people who can listen to others.

I think cults are so twisted, they are only waiting for the strangler, lost one to pounce on. It is really to me like any animal in the kingdom of I am stronger than you and you will do what I say. We used to have this cat who would hunt squirrels and gophers. He would catch them, then let them be terrified, act like he wasn't really looking, and when the poor animal finally got over the terrible fright, the cat would go over there and smack him. Not really interested in having him for dinner. Then, sometimes, the cat would get up and walk away. Then after all the game playing was over. Dinner.

I am sorry to share that with you but it came to me so strongly as an example of how people sometimes view others who don't go out and try to drag others into their particular faith.

Only God can call us. Nobody else.

We come in and we go out. For one, if somebody would show up at my family's service with messages of hate when everybody already is suffering from the loss of their loved one, guess I would have to call 911 as this has turned into a very dangerous situation.

Can't people realize they are not welcomed at such a sacred and painful time in the lives of those mourning the loss of a loved one? As I said before, there truly are crazies out there.

To say that God doesn't love us, and we must be sinners otherwise we wouldn't have died? How can anybody possibly think like that? Ignorance and the total lack of respect and love in their own lives.

We all are sinners, but we can keep trying to do better. To try to lay the trip on family members who have lost their loved ones is to me the ultimate freak control trip. Don't know why people just don't pick up their phones and get the Sheriff out there NOW. Have the people arrested for harrassment and causing grivious harm to the family. Possibly recommend that they need to be evaluated at the nearest mental health facility for observation.
