I am a new mother of a 3 month old baby
girl. About a month and a half i started
noticing she would do these twitching
movements and shake. After a few time i
took her into the er. We were admitted
into the icu for 5 days.
They did an mri, blood work, ekg, a video
24 hour eeg....everything. They said her
mri was perfect.....but they put her on
phenobarbital.
She was fine for about 2 weeks. Then last
friday she was doing them again, were her
eyes would flutter and her head or body
would shake. They last about 3 - 10
seconds.
The er dr. Said since has gained more
weight since her fist dosage amount they
upped her amount.
Now even with the upped amount, right
before she is trying to go to sleep or
after she has a full tummy she still does
it every so often. We have an appointment
with another neurologist this week.
