Ahhhhh im so frustrated.. I just want to have normal periods again!!! They said I have to start the pill again which made me spot so bad last time.. I dont care what Im on I just dont want to spot anymore.. Its getting old!

Cant you just go ahead and pull it out yourself? I have no Idea if you can, that as an actaul question. Seems like you could if it was that far down. But I dont know. It may scratch and leave scars Confused

That HAS to feel uncomfortable. I've never had an IUD but I can just imagine! Could you stop in at the emergency room & have them remove it maybe?

I don't even want to think about it, that scares me.

Is your husband gone over seas right now? Cause if he is couldn't you put off going on birth control until around when he comes back?

That's what you get for going to the gym.

Seriously, I didn't know that could happen. I'm with the other girls, go to the ER. I can't believe they are putting you off until tomorrow.

I called the ER and they said not to come in unless i felt i had too. With a 4 month old baby, i want to avoid it if i can. Pulling it out would be bad...its implanted in my uterus and i guess when i had my period it feel out when it was contracting? I have no clue... My husband is on a training opt so hell be home in december. Needless to say I think im done with the whole iud thing. I was told this happens a lot though. It just wasnt put in right. But I think it eel all the way out because I cant feel it anymore and before it felt like an inch of fishing wire poking me.
So yea.. I guess i'll find out tomorrow.
Anyone know of a birth control pill that they like?

I had problems with all the pills I ever took, but depo worked fine for me, besides the weight gain. Also there is the whole bone issue with that...
I'm on the patch now and it's really convenient. It's really easy for me to remember to change it, and I've never forgotten yet. My periods are lighter and shorter. It is known that sometimes people gain weight while on it, but I've continued losing. The first two months I got crazy depressed though, but it went away as my body got use to it. Another benefit is that it clears your skin!

I've heard a lot of good things about Yaz also. I was on Depo my senior year in high school & went from 130lbs to 160lbs. Some people lose weight while on that though, it's really different for everyone. I'm on Levlen 28 now & I'm loving it.

I'm one of the ones who hated it. I had my period for 4 months straight! That did it for me. I never went back for my 2nd shot. Oh yeah and I gained 20 lbs! That was not for me.

Everyone is totally different.. All the people I know who have (or have had) the Mirena fitted love it, & it was terrible for me. I'm now on the pill, Microgynon 30 (I think it's a UK one), & so far haven't had any adverse effects other than random spotting but I'm hoping that settles down Confused

I am on Loestrin 24fe. It regulates my periods and reduces them to almost nothing if not nothing for most women. I never get mood swings in it either.

I'm on Yaz. I've been back on it for about a month and half now, but when I was on it before I got pregnant I absolutely loved it. I would have a VERY light period that only lasted 3-4 days. It was great. I'm hoping it works like that again for me...

i also loved yaz! i didn't have any noticeable side effects and in the beginning my period was wicked light and lasted 1 day, a couple months in and my period disappeared completely! (of course that was extremely nerve-wracking at first and i tested every month, but then i got used to it and loved it.)
