Depro Vera And Risky Behavior - Do I need more Contraception Posted: 11-06-07 00:30am
my boyfiend and i have been having
unprotected sex for a little while now. i
got the depro vera shot and have been
telling him to deposit inside me.
Following this we ususaly leave it in wait
a few minutes and continue having sex. Is
depro vera going to protect me agiasnt
getting pergnat or do i need to do
something different. ( we both have been
tested and are clean) what is the risk
factor of me getting pregnat because i
know i will not get my period so how will
i know

Your risk is pretty low if you are getting
the shot in a timly fashion. I beleive it
is 99% effective. And you don't have to
worry about forgetting a pill. I'm sure
you are just fine. Just a note there are
people who have gotten pregnant but most
don't.

2 of my friends got pregnant on Depo
shot.
1 of my other friends got pregnant on the
patch.
Me, I got pregnant on the pill.
Just make sure you get your shots about
the same time each time... Like annie
said.
