Skin problem - white lines after I apply pressure

Hi, I am a 28 mother of four. Slighly overwieght but not significantly. I think that tends to happen when you have kids. I have a few medical problems, if this will help. I currently am battling quiet a bit of heartburn but seem to control it most of the time with Tagment. And i have bouts of feeling dizzy or light head. I don't know what sets it on. Sometimes it happens while I am laying down. I also have had hormone issues since my last child 5 years ago. But my main question would be, tonight my husband ran his fingers over the top part of my arm. Lightly, trying to tickle me i guess and when he moved his fingers I had very noticible white lines where his fingers had rubbed. It stayed like that for a good 4 to 5 minutes. I don't know what that means. It isn't dry skin. It is like when you press on your skin and a light mark appears and then goes away. Expect he barely pressed and the marks stayed there for quiet some time. Would any one know what i am talking about and what this could mean. It kind of gave me the chills because i had never seen that before.
Sorry about the back ground, i didn't know if it would help.
Thank You.

Sounds like dermatographism, which is a fancy word for the ability to write on your skin. This is usually accompanied by hives (urticaria) which is a localized and temporal swelling of the skin layers and can be caused by almost anything: meds, infections, certain foods, etc. Don´t worry. Take an OTC antihistamine for a week and see if it goes away, and if not see a Dermatologist.. If you only have dermatographism and no hives, and no itch u don´t even need to take meds. Some people have this all their lives.
