Q: Could I Still Be Pregnant?

Hi. Things went a little too far then we had planned......We hoped no sexual immorality before marriage.... Sad

i had the event during the last days of my period. I know that is one of the infertile times, but you can still get pregnant by that.
Well anyways I started having nausea at about 1.5 to 2 weeks after the event. And I dont think im like making it up or anything, it hit at any time when I was like doing things. Like one time I had math homework and just solely concentrating on it and all the sudden I felt sick. That happenned 2 days later again and another day. All when I wasn't thinking about being pregnant. So im just showing that I dont think like I was shocking my system into thinking I was pregnant. I have also had severe cramping about 2 weeks after the event.

I officially am 4 days late on my period. I dont keep track of my periods but I pretty much know when I am going to have my period... I think ive only been once late in my career and several earlies. I have been cramping yesterday but no blood whatsoever which is really really strange becasue I have a uterine disease which one of the symptoms I have is heavy blood flow, so if I was cramping it should have alreay openned the flood gates so to speak. I have also been very nauseated and sick all day today.

I took a pregnancy test on the 3 days late and it was negative. It has been a full 32 days since the event. Shouldn't it already have shown up by now if I was? I thnk so. If this does seem convincngly enough that I might still be pregnant, should I just skip the hpt and go to the doctor?

And btw.Im 18 and live with my parents so where would I go to get free pregnancy testing and everything without them knowing.

I would just like to say I am very sorry for my mistake Sad

of course not because I could be ...Im not saying I am sorry because I could get burned, but the fact that I even played with fire in the first place.

The symtoms you stated (nausea and cramping) are often indicators of early pregnancy, but in some cases may induced psychosomatically. I think the only way to be absolutely sure is to visit a family planning clinic. Family planning clinics are very confidential, and base fees on a sliding scale to ensure that anyone of any age can obtain confidential medical care. To ensure confidentiality, they are even careful about asking if they can say who they are when they call and if it is okay to send you mail. A large family planning group is planned parenthood, but there are many other agencies in different states. To find one, look on the internet in your area. Good luck!!

I am thinking you are probably not pregnant if you took a pregnancy test and it showed negative, those tests can detect something like three days before you are supposed to have a period. If you are 18 and have insurance through your parents, go to the doctor. It has to remain confidential. Tell them you are getting your yearly physical. Hope everything works out for you! Be careful!!! I think it is great that you tried to wait for marriage, you still can.
