24 Weeks!

Yay!!! I'm 24 weeks today!!! Went to my
doc appt yesterday and babys fine!
Heartbeat is now 138-140 bpm  I was nervous too
cuz I was feelin some pressure really low
like near my (well ya know) and some lady
told me its bad to feel that this early on
in pregnancy and thats what made her have
a miscarriage at 6 months so I talked to
ym doc and she checked and said as long as
my cervix is closed then everythings fine
so phew! Lol! just thought i'd
let ya all know!

Congrats! The same happened to me and
when my doctor cheked me last week she
said that she could fell a little hand.
My son did the same thing. You do have
to be careful, I was prescribe to wear one
of those pregnancies girdles. It's not
got if you carry low. Im glad your
cervix is closed so is mine. But still
becareful, because once the baby starts to
get heavier anything could go wrong. I'm
not trying to scare you. It's just that
i'm going trought the same thing and i'm
21 weeks. Good luck hun.

24 weeks = 6 months
length of pregnancy = 9 months
9 / 3 = 3
so 6 months into the pregnancy is two
thirds of the way through

Lol! I thought 6 months started at 23
weeks? Oh wellz... Im goin by the other
9 month one not the lunar one hehehe but yah every week
I get so excited to start a new one! Just
seems soooo much longer to go lol! But my
backs really hurtin now so I think I can
wait a lil till im bigger (i'm 24 weeks
and measuring 25 cm... Doctor said that
aint bad but she said hes prolly tall lol!
Unless im eatin too much and just puttin
on fat haha!) how far along is everyone
else now??

Im 5 months today...The other day I was
bored and had my mom measure with the
measuring tape im 35 1/2 all the way
around. Is that bad? Lol

Lol no I dont think thats bad, how they
measure u at the doctors is different tho,
they'll measure from ur pubic bone, up to
the top of ur uterus (so instead of
measuring horizontal they measure u
vertically). Thats the way they go by,
unless they do the around thing where u
live, but im not too sure how that works
lol! But im sure its not bad. I dont
think measurements are serious until about
28 or so weeks... I think anyways lol!

Techinally my doctor said 6 months is from
23-27 weeks? I didnt know that either.
.But somehow its figured that way. Its in
my preg book too. But hey im guessin a
boy!! (could be wrong, u never know) but
mines a boy and his heartbeat has always
been 138-142* congrats!

My babys heartbeat is in the 160's and I
find out today what it is ........They might
measure that way my mom was just havin fun
measuring around.

1st month-conception-6wks
2nd month-7-10 wks.
3rd-11-14 wks.
4th-15-18 wks.
5th-19-22 wks
6th-23-26 wks.
7th-27-30 wks.
8th-31-34 wks.
9th-35-delivery
pregnancy actually last for 10 months so
2/3 starts in the middle of your 26th
week. congrats girl!

I dont think thats how it is cause then
that month would last through week
18,19,20,21 & 22. That makes that
month 5 weeks altogether!
