And I Thought I Was Nuts... Posted: 11-06-07 18:43pm
I was watching bringing home baby today
and this lady not only had a natural birth
with no meds but she had twins. She also
was nursing both of them and hopes to
until they are two. Then to top it off
they are using cloth diapers. geez i
thought twins were hard enough without all
of that!
I want a set of multiples one day but no
naturally!

I don't think she's nuts ! I think so is
overly ambitious!! I would be very
surpirsed if she sticks to the 2 yr mark
or cloth diapers. Who knows though!

I'm addicted to discovery health and TLC's
baby shows! I think *I'M* nuts. I've
been addicted to them ever since my
freshmen year of college... and way before
I ever had any "run in"'s with pregnancy
myself!
My husbands mother used cloth diapers with
her kids. Man... that really would save a
lot of money huh?
Weird question: How do you go about using
cloth diapers? In a picture that I love
that Bridget posted of finn I think he's
wearing one. Do you use them Bridget? So
like... how do you keep it in place...
just with those ole' timey diaper pins?
And how do you go about getting all the
yucky out of the diaper before dumping a
load in the washer? You can't possibly
just put a whole bunch of cloth diapers in
the washing machine together as-is...
right? And where do you keep them while
you're waiting for some more to get dirty
so you can wash a load of them together?
A hamper of those in the bathroom just
would not smell very pleasant. You can't
practically diaper-genie those, you know?!
I feel really dumb, but I really don't
know these things! I
guess it really is a good thing I'm not
pregnant.

nope, i don't have the patience for cloth.
i do have a picture of finn (where he's in
a basket) and he has an old fashioned
cloth diaper tied around his bottom, but
that was just for pictures.
i just don't think i'd want to deal with
the laundering.

haha... see I didn't even know there were
"cloth diapers". I thought the thick,
white diaper cloths were still the norm.
I pictured exactly what finn had on in
that basket picture. I'm so embarrassed
Still though... I have a lot of questions
about the laundry process with them.

Cloth diapering isn't too bad. Then again,
I don't have twins. It is easier than
people think.
