Products or techniques to prevent further tanning Posted: 11-06-07 19:44pm
(Posted in womens chat as I 'think' women
are more aware on skin care)
I have a tanning problem. I get tanned
easily and it does not go away at all. So
I have a yellow bumb and brown arms.
Does anyone know any products or/and
special techniques that can help prevent
further tanning? Any creams that prevent
the skin from getting tanned?
Does anyone know any products or/and
special techniques that can help lighten
your skin back to its orginal colour, or
even decrease the tan?
I am an Indian male. My natural skin
colour is a light yellow, but my easy tan
has led my arms to become brown. I hate
the imbalance of colours, and I would not
want to tan myself out to even it all as
it is not healthy and I prefer light
yellow to brown personally lol. I would
rather try to reduce my tan as much as
possible.
Does anyone know any medically proven
products? Or good products? That have
helped lighten asian skin or any skin?
Please inform me with any knowledge and of
products that work and help lighten the
skin back to its original colour, or to
get it light as much as possbile. There
are some products out that claim to help
lighten skin. Does anyone know one that
works? Thanks.

I don't believe they make products
specifically to lighten tans, however,
there is a product by Acne Free sold at
drugstores and walmarts and things like
that on the face wash aisle that is made
to reduce the appearance of scars left by
acne. The lotion sold with the pack is a
skin lightener, and I can tell you from
experience that it works. I don't think
one bottle of it would last very long if
you used it on your entire body, but you
could I guess. It's of course a gradual
process though.
Also, as much as you don't want to be
darker, you may want to use a self tanner
lotion on your butt to help make it closer
to the color of the rest of your body,
since this is the problem. Then you could
begin to try the skin lightening lotion
all over to lighten your skin evenly. I'm
sorry that there isn't any quick fix or
easy solution to your problem. If all
else fails, you could just load up on
sunblock every time you head outside for
any amount of time and wait a few months
for it to fade on its own.

I'm sorry, but I had to move this. I know
you wanted female responses, but men are
not allowed to post to
Women's Chat forum. I hope you get some
answers here :3

If someone is posting links to sites that
sell acne products, I'm sorry but they
must be removed.
Instead, just type out the name of the
product. We all have google; I'm sure we
can find the item ourselves.

well you could sit in your basement and
stay out of the sun and play warcraft for
6 months never exiting into the brightness
of the sky....
that would lighten it lol

I think that's a very dumb and unhealthy
idea. Your skin is 100% naturally the
color is is supposed to be.

You skin is the color it is supposed to
be. Your body is "light yellow" because
you clearly wear a shirt when you are in
the sun. That is why your arms and face
are brown. The smarter idea is to go
tanning a little in the sun. Go outside
without a shirt on.

is clearasil better or garnier, for
blackhead removing etc. i got the
pads,,,,,,,not the face wash,,,,or can you
use both????? face wash or pads better?
can they be used together?
ive also got a "fade out extra care, fade
cream - night" to help lighten n even face
skin, can be applied on arms. is it ok if
i use the day one too and the night one?
as there r 2, one for day use, the other
for night use.
and after using the pads, is it possible
to use the creams or ur not supposed to
put anything on? lol
