Headache And Pressure Behind the Eyes? Posted: 11-07-07 16:13pm
Not really sure where to start, so I will
start from the beginning.
About 3 days ago my face was itchy, mostly
around my mouth and chin area, and then it
moved to my nose. Well I woke up today
with an intense itching sensation around
my eyes. Around my eyes was also slightly
red. I went to the aid station (I'm in the
military) and without doing a workup or
anything, they said it was an allergic
reaction and gave me Lora tabs, which I
took one immediately.
After being around for a couple of hours I
started to get this weird
headache/pressure that is focused behind
my eyes. It feels like my eyes are going
to bulge out of my head, and I'm extremely
fatigued. The headache/pressure is so bad
that I feel 'out of it', I don't seem to
perceive things like I normally do. I'm
slightly unstable on my feet because of
this and I would like to just turn out the
lights and go to bed, but I can't. My face
and my eyes are still itchy even after
taking the medication I was given....not
sure if that has anything to do with my
headache pressure or not, but since it
started about the same time I just don't
know....
Does anybody know what this could be? (I
don't believe it is allergy related
because of past experiences with
allergies)

Have you been taking some medicines?
Are you experiencing swelling of the
mouth, face, lips, or tongue?
Do you find your vision changed?
Do you have facial flushing?
Do you find difficult to breath?
