Help Please...scared a Little

Ok, so most of you know that I've been
having braxton hicks since I was like 17
weeks. Well, I've been having them today.
Now, I'm home from work and they're
getting worse. They are staying pretty
regular. I have my feet up and I am
drinking water right now. I would just
like some thoughts and prayers right now.
Feel free to give any advice as well. My
mom had problems with contractions all
throughout her 3 pregnancies. I'm just
worried. If I don't feel better in an hour
or so I'm going to go to labor and
delivery.

Sorry I don't have any advice except to
just keep doing what you are
doing.....taking it easy. That has never
happened to me so I am not much of a help.
But I will keep you in my thoughts and
prayers............I am sure that you and
your baby girl will be fine

Start counting. If you hit/have hit 7 in
an hour, call your doctor.

Thanks, the cxs are still coming. I called
my mom and she said she would get them
like every 5 minutes when hers would get
bad. I may just have an irritable uterus
but I'm still worried right now.

Just chill out. Most of the time it's
nothing, anyways. You don't really have to
start worrying until they start to hurt,
like really bad period cramps.

I'm back guys. I had to go in to L&D.
They got really bad and wouldn't go away.
I swear I couldn't even talk they got to
hurting so bad. We were almost to the
hospital and then they started to ease up.
So they hooked me up to all the nice
monitors. Brina was doing great, but she
wasn't happy about the doppler. She kept
kicking it. The other monitor showed small
spikes of contractions but they did go
away completely. Then, the nurse checked
my cervix. I have never had a hand going
up my cha cha hurt so bad in my life. I
was literally crying at this point. She
said my cervix was very high and closed.
It being high is one reason it supposedly
hurt so much to check me. My doctor never
hurts me like that. We were there for
about an hour in all. My doc said to rest
and drink plenty of fluids and if it
starts up bad again like it did earlier to
come back. They think I might just have a
really irritable uterus so I dunno. I
guess we will see how the rest of the week
goes.

Oh jesus...I'm SO glad all is well!!!!!
I watch some baby shows during the day and
have seen babies born at 25-27 weeks and
they all seem to do fine. It's an eerie
calming feeling when I see this.
I'm sorry you're expereincing these
pains!! I can only IMAGINE how scary it
must be!!!
I'm glad all is well!!!!

I knew it was gonna hurt as soon as I felt
her freaking fingernails. That just wasn't
a good sign. I'm staying home from work
today. The only thing I'm leaving for is
my nephew's b-day party tonight but I will
be able to sit down there too. Picking up
the kids at daycare is what caused all
this to start in the first place so I
thought I should just stay at home today.
Brandon is fixing us breakfast and then
he's going to go pick up my check and tell
them I can't come in.

EEKK!! I think women in that field
shouldn't be allowed to grow long nails. I
would have been MAD had I felt fingernails
in my who ha!!
Enjoy your day off!!!!!

I'm glad everything turned out okay. How
far along are you?
Just keep an eye on it... I had problems
like that starting at around 20 weeks, and
at 23 I started going into labor and had
to be put on medication to stop it. So
just keep it easy for a bit :]

I will be 27 weeks Friday. I only work
four hours a day when I do work and I
haven't gone to class in quite some time.
I just haven't felt good in general pretty
much this whole pregnancy.
