Lake of Fire - Abortion Documentary
Posted: 11-08-07 07:33am

Has anyone seen this? I hear that its pretty even handed and well made film, though extremely graphic and shocking in parts. Its due to open in the uk in a week or so, and i'd be interested to hear peoples opinions on the film, or even what they have heard about it.
Apparently there is a trailer on youtube, but i havent watched it yet as i dont know how graphic it would be.

It's a very interesting title, given that no abortion method I can think of involves lakes, fire, or lakes of fire in any way. Unless it's referring to the lake of fire we'll all be swimming in when we get to hell.

From a review: "Yet the pro-life crowd has ten-fold more crazy people and flat out cold-blooded murderers in their ranks, including one amazingly entertaining, yet incredibly frightening preacher that recounts literal stories (in his mind) of women who got abortions carrying out the fresh fetus from the abortion clinic, parading it in front of the anti-abortion protesters, pulling out a grill, throwing the fetus on that grill, cooking it and eating it in front of the shocked anti-abortionists."

HAHAHAHAHA Oh god

It looks like there is no one side favoured in this film. I probably won't see it, because my attention span is not that good, but it does sound quite interesting.

Yes, see - that sort of behaviour does the pro-life camp no good at all...! Where did you find that review? (if you have time to find it again!), i'd be interested to read more

It's a review from when it was shown at the Santa Barbara Film Festival in February. If you just google 'Lake Of Fire Abortion', the first few results are pretty insightful reviews.

I googled it and found the youtube bit on it. It looks like it could be a very good film on this hot contraversial social issue. I hope it comes out in American theaters
