I am taking Microgestin 1/20 FE Tab S28
green, but am having no periods on placebo
(iron) week. I have not had a period in
over a year. Is this cause for concern?
I have been taking this particular birth
control for almost 3 years. I am
scheduled to see regular Doctor in
January.

No, that is not necessarily a problem.
This is not 'common', but some women just
ALWAYS skip a period while on birth
control pills. This is even if they do not
try.
You do not 'need' a period on BC, mainly
because the period you get is not a 'real'
period anyway.
It is just bleeding from lack of BC pills
in your system that week.

After I was on a low dose pill for a
while, I didn't mine either. Now I'm on
the mini pill and never get it.

i am on that pill and i do get my
period.one q for you though does it affect
your sex drive???

When I was on loestrin (the same) I had a
fine sex drive. Other pills have effected
it, though.
