I am having a scan on Jan 7th and then a
Colonoscopy sometime afterwards. It took
me about 2 weeks to see my doc when it
started, I thought I had some bug. In the
end, after crying in pain for a whole
night, I went to the doc and he is doing
everything to help me.

I had my scan and there wasnt anything
they could see that was blocking me or
causing the pain. They looked at
everything but had a time findin my
Gallbladder! It was hiding. I also got a
letter about having a camera but was told
it's gonna take ages, due to other people
needing it before me. So if the outcome of
the doctor checking scan results, will i
still need it?!?

Correct we if I'm wrong, but as I
understood, the next step your doctor is
planning to do, is to examine your
gallbladder and you'll need to wait?
Did he give you an answer for your
bleeding?
Maybe, at that time you just got a relapse
of your hemorrhoids.

I have to wait to the end of week for the
results. I was told it was my gallbladder.
I have no idea what is going on here. I am
just trying to get some advice. As for the
bleeding, theres been none 4 ages.

Older people over 50 have increased risk
for developing bowel cancer.
Is the form of your stool changed?

Are you experiencing chest pain in the
right side?
Do you have nausea, vomiting or gas?
Do you find the area just below the rib
cage to the right of the stomach very
painful on touch?

Changed appearance of stool can be a sign
of colorectal cancer.
Pencil-thin stool can be a sign of an
obstruction from rectal cancer.
When you gonna have a colonoscopy?

No.
I was just answering your previous
question about likelihood of bowel cancer
at your age.
I don't want to cause you extra worries.
I guess you have some issue with your
gallbladder as your doctor suspected from
the first posts you wrote here and the
symptoms you've experienced at that time.
You need to know that attack of gallstones
are the most common digestive disease that
affects women.
Gallstones are formed years before they
cause symptoms (silent stones), but once
symptoms develop, they are likely to
continue and often will worsen (there are
asymptomatic periods between gallstones
attacks).

Sorry I just got scared then! I am trying
to keep an open mind. I know everyone has
told it's unlikely to be bowel cancer but
you know, I panic. I just called up my
doctor, my results are back but he's not
read them yet. I've got call back tomorrow
or Wednesday to see if he has

It's ok. I can understand that you are
going through stressful time.
You obviously have medical issue, you are
undergoing examinations, waiting for other
tests and results.
It's normal to panic and worry.
Please, inform me for your results as soon
as you get them.
I'll try to be around.
Best wishes!
Marija

Called up my doc, was told the scan
results have been checked and I am seeing
him tomorrow. I am scared. My mind is
working overtime. You talked about my
gallbladder, could that be causing this
problem!?

I saw my doc today and it seems I've
capillary haemangioma in my liver. I've
got to have CT scan in the coming weeks. I
was told this wont kill me but it's good I
am getting checked out. Also will the CT
Scan show up anything bad in other parts
of my body?!?

I guess you'll get a CT scan of your
abdomen and chest, and CT scan images of
your body (internal organs, bone, soft
tissue and blood vessels) will provide
greater clarity than conventional x-ray
exams and help physicians to make a
diagnose.
What's the size of the hemangioma (it
should be marked on the ct scan images or
doctors report)?

I was told there was 2 hermangioma in my
liver, small size. I also found it
whatever I have runs in the family, both
my Auntie and Nana (who died when I was
17) had it. I read about the illness and
it can start anywhere in the body. The ct
scan should clear all this up
