she's been up since 12:30 this afternoon
with only two half hour naps since then.
it's almost 11 o' clock now. i'm pretty
sure she needs a poo but for some reason
she won't go. she isn't crying or
anything. she just will not sleep!!! i'm
taking a break from rocking her in the
rocking chair because i feel like my arms
are going to fall off from holding her.
she's just sitting here in her vibrating
chair popping her soother out then pushing
it back in. her eyes are all glazed over
because she's so tired but she just won't
sleep for more than 5 minutes. i don't
know what to do with her. i'm so tired.

Bella had a day liek that yesterday... she
wasn't crusty or anything, really she was
all smiles and playful , but you could see
it in her eyes how tired she was.
have you tried a bath?
At about 1am last night I did the whole
bedtime bath routine thingy with the
lotions and I turned the light down really
low and just =rubbed the stuff into her
arms legs and belly, she was giggly at
first but after a while it zonked her out
and finally when I started to rock her she
fell asleep.
good luck, days like that are hard hun ,
hopefully they are few and far between!

yeah, the bath thing works like a charm.
i gave her one last night and she slept
like a log. but she's sleeping now! i
put her in her swing so i could go to the
bathroom and when i came back she had
passed out. now i'm scared to take her
out. lol.

There was a couple nights when Kaylee was
that age where she slept all night in her
swing just because I was exhausted &
needed a little rest! The batteries were
dead by morning but we both got a good
nights sleep!

It's fine to leave her in her swing to
sleep at night if you need to.

My daughter did this for awhile. We
finally put a fan in her room and now she
sleeps really good every night. We faced
the fan towards the wall so that it's not
blowing on her. Seems the noise helps
soothe her. Now, I just wish we could
figure out how to get her to sleep for the
baby-sitters!!
