I Need Health Insurance For My Baby Posted: 04-08-04 12:30pm
I live in virginia and I was wondering if
anyone knew any type of health insurance
program or anything that I could get for
my baby. Right now i've been paying for
all of his bills out of my own pocket and
I just can't do it anymore. I applied
for medicaid, but they denied me. Please
help.

Are gateway and medicaid the same thing?
I am really not sure, but maybe you could
look into gateway. Also, highmark bc/bs
offers health insurance for low income (no
offense, I had it for years and if you
meet the specifics it is so much cheaper
than anything else I ever found) if you
call their main number - probably on the
internet - and ask about the health
insurance for low income, they will mail
you the information. They do not
advertise this coverage, but if you ask
they will send it to you.
Those are the only two things I can think
of, so I am sorry if neither work.
You do need health coverage, but you may
also look into free clinics for well-baby
care. I'm sure that would help. Most
health departments offer vaccines, etc.

Try datahealth.co.uk for instance. Loads
of info and links to check the rates etc.
