hi im 36 weeks pregnant and have had some recent vaginal swelling...its not too painful until i get up and walk around like at the mall or walk for a few hours...i have some discharge its a light white and has no odor so i just wanted to hear all your opinions. i do have a drs appointment schedualed for within the next week and will be discussing this with her so no need to fret about that

The discharge sounds normal, and i have heard that you can get some swelling in the vagina during pregnancy. I have noticed a bit with mine, but nothing serious. But i would really bring it up for sure.

walking juggles your body pretty good, so when you walk for a few hours, that's a lot of back and forth on your uterus. Iritate anything for a few hours and it will swell a bit. As for a discharge, sounds pretty normal to me. I've had a pretty steady white discharge since basically the begining (17wks now) and doc says it's normal. It could also be the start of your mucus plug, but unlikely. If you start getting little chunks, call your doctor, although most women walk around awhile after it dislodges. I agree with you and Hollyberries, bringing it up with your doctor would be a wonderful idea. Again, don't take anything on here as a diagnosis.
