Lost Birth Control Pill: skip sugar pills? how long to test? Posted: 11-12-07 12:10pm
this might sound really dumb, but i need a
little insight here.
i was out on friday night with the guy i'm
seeing and we had sex. i am not sure if i
took 2 pills at once on friday because
saturday night i went to take my pill at
my usual time and it was gone.
i've also been told that it's ok to skip
your sugar pills and start a new pack to
bypass your period for another month. i'm
going to be on vacation next week and
didn't want to get it so last night i
started a new pack.
my doctor put me on the pill about 10
years ago due to my (very) irregular
mentrual cycle.
i guess my question here is... is there a
REAL possibility that I could be pregnant.
how long do i really need to wait before
i take a test?
i appreciate any feedback that anyone can
provide to help figure this out.

wait until you miss a period
then test

well, since i started a new pack of birth
control pills last night, i won't be
getting my period for another month now.
