Seasonique- Missed 2 Pills am spotting and getting cramps Posted: 11-13-07 16:24pm
I have been taking seasonique for about a
year now and have had very little problems
with it so far. That was until last
week....
Last Wed I had sex w/ my husband, I
thankfully remembered to take the pill
that morning. For one reason or another i
forgot my pill the next two mornings
(thursday & friday) Friday night i
remembered that i had forgotten my pills
and rushed into the bathroom & read
the packet directions. It said to take 2
pills the day you remember & two pills
the next day. Well i took two pills that
day which was thursdays pill & fridays
pill. I figured in theory i was all
caught up and realllllyyyy didn't miss all
of friday sooo on saturday i only took 1
pill instead of the 2 pills the packet
says you take when you miss full 2 pills.
Then on saturday night i noticed i started
spotting and getting cramps. Today is
Tuesday and i am still spotting and have
some slight cramps. I cant figure this
all out?? I barely missed a full 2 days?
Could i have become pregnant in those two
days afterwards? I know sperm can hang
around and i was close to my ovulation
date not very but near it enough to maybe
worry. The problem is with the seasonique
i haven't had a period for over a month or
so and cant really calculate my ovulation
cycle & i am not due for my period for
another month and a week.... so no way to
tell if i am pregnant there. Worse part
is i am on meds for migrains that can
cause birth defects so the sooner i stop
them the better. I doubt i am pregnant
but i would hate to be wrong and possibly
harm a child!
Can you take a pregnant test while still
on seasonique? Will you get a false
result? Any clues why i might be spotting
and cramping? I feel very awful the last
couple of days and just want to feel like
normal... and know i am not pregnant. Any
insight would be greatly appreciated!!
