Vision Question - headache caused me to see small white blotches Posted: 11-13-07 22:03pm
I'm 17 and I'm a senior in high school
and today i had the worst headache ive
ever had before. I don't get headaches
that much, During my 3rd period my vision
got kinda weird. There was certain spots
that were blocked out of my vision. Almost
like small white blotches. Like on my
video notes if i looked at the word
example School, if i stared at it i could
only see scho and the rest was blocked out
and i would have to turn my head to see
it.
After a while it stopped and my head felt
better but then it came back and I
continued to have a bad headache all day.
I'm not ever really concerned about my
health lol to tell you the truth it just
kinda scared me how i couldn't even see
certain spots for a while. I was wondering
if anyone would be able to tell me what it
was?

Was the headache located on one side of
your head?
Did you feel nauseous?
Did you find yourself too sensitive to
lights and sounds at that moment?

It felt like it was behind my eye. And i
had a sub in class and her voice was so
high pitched it hurt to hear her talk

Did you have pale skin as well as cold
hands and feet when you had headache
attack?
Did you experience an intense, throbbing
or pounding pain?
For how long this attack lasted?
Have you felt sleepiness, irritability,
fatigue, depression or euphoria, yawning,
and cravings for sweet or salty foods,
days or hours before the severe headache
appear?

thats happend to me before.. i get blurred
vision with headache and then it goes
spotty and then it goes normal but
sometimes i get bloody noses and yea i get
the nauseousness, loud sounds hurt badly
and smells make me sick.. so do lights i
have to lay in the dark with no sound
normally with a pillow over my ears.. its
horrid.. but the drs said it wasnt
migraines which is odd...
