Pain Along Right Side of Stomach - appendix ? Posted: 11-14-07 03:14am


Experiencing sharp pain on the right side of my body between my hip and ribs along with a stomach ache. It hurts most to when I walk around or cough. It doesn't hurt when I apply pressure though. at this point it almost feels like there's a giant bubble in my stomach Yesterday I was working out and sort of twisted my back the wrong way so I'm thinking it could possibly be a strained muscle? I'm guessing it would hurt worse if it had to do with my appendix. It's a pretty sharp and uncomfortable pain though. Has been getting worse within the last few hours.

What kind if work you were doing? Is pain relieved by rest? Do you find any decrease in muscle strength or any difficulty moving? Can you noticed muscle swelling, discoloration or both?
