Q: Previous Stroke And Future Pregnancies?

I had a hemorrhagic stroke 17 months ago at the age of 26. I have completely recovered, but wondering if anyone has gone through this and still had children. My husband and I are not planning kids now, but in a few years. I know that I will be seeing a high risk ob, but have not even discussed it with them yet. The first thing that my husband said was no kids. His first reaction (fear of me having a more damaging stroke and a child). We haven't ruled out adoption, but it would be wonderful to have our own children. Has anyone gone through this?
